Well, my favorite season is Fall, so I would like it to last longer than it does. This year we have had more gloomy,rainy days than I can ever remember. Usually we get some spectacular sunny days followed by cool, crisp nights. Not so much this year. The leaves are definitely turning, but it's all a big soggy mess.

My wish this week is simple. I just wish for two brilliantly sunny cool crisp fall days on my birthday weekend. We are going to Galena, IL for two days, and I just want to enjoy the season in all its glory! I want to breath fresh air, and feel the sunshine on my face, and see lots of beautiful trees in all their autumnal splendor. I want to drink hot chocolate in the evening, and have a fresh apple donut in the morning. Just fully experience the short time we have to our selves.
